4. Unplug
There are indications that social media use causes anxiety. People fear missing out on something important or start comparing their lives with that of others on a social media platform. Social media also takes you away from things you should be doing like work or spending time with family.
5. Develop Some Rhythms in Life
Rhythms mean consistencies, so you do the same thing at the same time and in the same way every day. Go to bed and get up at the same time each day, for instance. Eat your meals at the same time every day. The rhythms create a natural flow that your body comes to rely on and it reduces your mental stress as you follow patterns that allow you to meet your goals.
6. Turn off the TV
Too much television time can keep you from doing things that will help you relax like getting enough sleep, and exercising. It can also be a contributing factor in obesity.
